BOARADISE✦A little civilisation. A lot of boar.

01 / A most unlikely beginning

Yesterday, acorns. Today, existential questions.

For generations, a warm hollow and something to eat were enough. Then the boars woke up with ideas. About homes. About friendship. About why all the humans had vanished.

Now a clearing is yours to turn into a settlement, and a herd is counting on you. Put a roof over their heads, get supper on the table and give their newfound curiosity somewhere useful to go.

The Royal Oak remembers the old world. He might even tell you about it. Once you stop looking for acorns under his feet.

02 / A very full boar life

Work hard. Wallow harder.

A settlement is more than stocked shelves. These boars need a reason to get up in the morning, and something to look forward to when the work is done.

01✦

From clearing to community

Grow crops, build workshops and connect the places that keep your herd fed. A warm meal starts long before somebody lights the stove.

02✦

Brains. Brawn. Boar power.

Train your defenders, develop your boars' skills and put curious minds to work. The next discovery might change everything. The wolves certainly won't wait for it.

03✦

Make room for the good stuff

A bath, a drink, a game with your mates. Give your herd time to unwind. A boar cannot live on cabbage and responsibility alone.

03 / Something stirs beyond the trees

The humans left. Their secrets didn't.

Across the Rift, a city stands empty. Its machines have fallen silent, its guardians still keep watch, and somewhere in its ruins a portal waits to be brought back to life.

Follow the Royal Oak's stories, recover forgotten relics and piece together what happened. The forest has plenty of answers. Few of them are comfortable.

There may be a way to lead your herd somewhere safe. First, you have to survive long enough to find it.

A brief interruption to the end of the world

Fear. Loathing. Excellent mud.

Two bags of acorns. A little truffle. Absolutely no sensible plan.

The hat says expedition leader. The glasses say difficult questions. The blade of grass says those questions can wait. Saving a civilisation is important, but so is having an exceptionally good afternoon.

04 / The human behind the herd

A long-held dream. Then came the boars.

Charles Sievewright had wanted to make games for a long time. There was always something missing: enough time, enough energy, or an idea that refused to leave him alone.

Then came the boars. Boars who could get stronger together, hang out with their buddies and thoroughly enjoy being alive. A little ridiculous. Immediately worth caring about.

That became Boaradise: a place for the pleasure of building something together, the trouble that comes with looking after others, and the glorious possibility of spending an evening doing absolutely nothing useful.
